Our enthusiasm for the natural world has inspired us to visit some pretty special locations since we began wielding a camera.

Through our association with researchers working in these far flung places, we have managed to document some amazing projects and have come to develop an understanding of how the broader environment functions and the effect we humans are having upon it.

One remarkable ecosystem that is in dire need of attention is the Bremer Canyon off the coast of southern Western Australia.

The canyon is adjacent to the UNESCO world heritage listed Fitzgerald Biosphere, a terrestrial environment rich in ancient flora and fauna.

A wide diversity of marine species gather at this wild and remote deepwater upwelling, taking advantage of what we believe is a natural phenomenon that until now has gone unrecognised.

Passion

Being filmmakers, we're pretty fortunate with where we live, a pristine natural environment surrounded by dozens of islands that collectively make up southern Western Australia's recherche archipelago.

The variety of habitats and diversity of species, both above and below the waves is quite mind boggling, there seems to be no end to new and exciting filming opportunities everywhere you look.

We are firm believers in the notion that biodiversity is key to a harmonious existence and over the years have endeavored to document iconic environments and wildlife in the hope we could assist in decision making and responsible management of these areas so future generations can enjoy them ... just as we have been able to.
